Chapter 1: About the ES4524M-PoE Overview The ES4524M-PoE is an intelligent Layer 2 PoE switch with 24 10/100/1000BASE-T * ports, two of which are combination ports that are shared with two SFP transceiver slots (see Figure 1-1, Ports 23-24). The switch includes an SNMP-based management agent embedded on the main board, which supports both in-band and out-of-band management access.
