Adding/Naming Scenes in SmartLinc An INSTEON scene is the relationship between a controller and its responders. A scene can be a controller and just one responder, or as many responders as you like. Each responder in a scene can be configured to activate at dif ferent, individual states. SmartLinc organizes scenes within rooms (see Adding/Naming Rooms in SmartLinc ). Restoring Power to SmartLinc Like most INSTEON devices, SmartLinc stores all of its settings (including links) in its internal non- volatile memory. All settings will be retained in the event of a power failure. Once power is restored, SmartLinc will return all its connected loads to their previous states before the power loss occurred.
