Correct ventilation The extractor works best when there is low pressure in the kitchen. Therefore, the kitchen windows must be closed when the extractor is in operation. At the same time, it is a good idea to open a window in an adjacent room; see fig. Always start the extractor a few minutes before you start preparing food.
