ARMING THE SYSTEM - PASSIVE (AUTOMATIC) If the passive arming feature has been selected: 1. Turn the engine off, exit the vehicle, and close all doors, hood and trunk. The dash mounted LED will begin to flash rapidly indicating that the 30 second passive arming timer has begun.
