Using Your System The transmitter buttons used in the instructions in this manual correspond to the Standard Configuration. Remember, this is not the only way your transmitter may be set up. ® Nuisance Prevention Circuitry ® ® ™ Your system has DEI ’s Nuisance Prevention Circuitry (NPC ). It prevents annoying repetitive trigger sequences due to faulty door pin switches or environmental conditions such as thunder, jack- hammers, airport noise, etc. Here’s how it works: The alarm triggers three times. Each time, the same sensor or switch is triggering the alarm. If the three triggers are within 60 ™ minutes of each other, NPC will interpret this pattern of triggers ™ as false alarms.
