English HOW TO MEASURE YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE To get an accurate blood pressure measurement, you need to start by setting the pressure cuff on your arm to the correct starting pressure. The correct starting pressure level for you is your systolic blood pressure (the higher of your two blood pressure readings) plus 40 mmHg.
