SHUTTING OFF YOUR SMOKER Your Country Smoker will give you many years of flavorful service with minimum cleaning. An important step is allowing the grill and cooking grids to “Self Clean” by running the grill on high temperature for 5 – 10 minutes after each use. GRILL MAINTENANCE CONT... COOKING GRIDS When new, wash thoroughly with warm soapy water, place back in the smoker and “Preheat” the grill for 20 to 30 minutes. After the completion of grilling, open the lid and with a long handle grill cleaning brush, give the grids a thorough cleaning.
