INSTALL THERMOSTAT BASE: THERMOSTAT TOP VIEW 1. Strip wire insulation leaving only 3/8 in. (9.5mm) bare wire ends, and clean off any corrosion present. 2. GAS / ELEC SLIDE SWITCH (FAN OPERATION): This switch is a physical component by itself on the circuit board, and is much larger than the DIP BATTERY switches listed above.
