SOME NOTES ABOUT POWER CORDS Long or thin cords can require more wattage from a generator to power an electrical device. Figure 9 shows the recommended cords according to the power requirement of the electrical device. STOPPING THE GENERATOR To stop this generator: 1. Turn off all connected electrical devices and then unplug them. 2. Switch the circuit breaker to the “off” position. 3. Allow this generator to run for several more minutes with no electrical devices connected to help stabilize the temperature of this generator. 4. Set the engine switch to the “off” position. 5. Turn the fuel valve to the “off” position.
