Quick Start Owner's Manual (English) Quick Setup for the Coolfire Make sure all items listed on the front of this guide are in the Coolfire's box. Read the Important Safety Instructions document included with the Coolfire. Study the Hookup Diagram below. Make sure all equipment is turned off and all gain knobs are set to zero. Front panel operation 1. Input – Plug your guitar into this 1/4" unbalanced input using a TS cable. 2. Program Up/Down Buttons – Change the program number with these buttons. When pressed together, they put the unit into both Bypass and Mute modes and access the tuner. 3. EQ (Equalizer) This module provides you with a high-pass filter and four bands of equalization that you can use to shape the sound of your audio signal by cutting and boosting certain frequencies. HPF (High-Pass Filter) Turns on the high-pass filter, which reduces very low frequencies (below 80 Hz). NOISE GATE The noise gate eliminates unwanted noise by gating the signal, which means that it mutes the signal until the signal’s level rises above a certain point. Storing effects programs After you’ve created a configuration that you like, you can store it for future recall.
