PREPARING ESPRESSO COFFEE 1. Ensure that the espresso machine is cold. Unscrew it by holding the water container with one hand and with the other hand turn the upper body, which collects the brewed coffee, anti clockwise, i.e. to the left. 2. Remove the coffee funnel from the water container. To make 6 cups of coffee fill the water container with fresh water to the MAX. mark. Hint: We recommend the use of fresh soft water. 6. Place the espresso machine on the base. Close the lid. 7. Press the ON/OFF switch. The pilot light indicates that the appliance is operating. After approximately 5 minutes, coffee will start to percolate from the riser pipe. After the coffee has been made, the ON/OFF switch will automatically revert to the OFF position. (i.e. the appliance is switched off). IMPORTANT: Before initial use of the espresso machine, clean all its accessories and the riser pipe with warm water. CLEANING AND MAINTEN
