Nokia 7-PLUS user manual

The Nokia 7 Plus came out in 2018.

As of my knowledge until October 2021, the Nokia 7 Plus is no longer receiving regular security updates from Nokia. The official support, in the form of regular updates, ended in April 2021, three years after its initial release in 2018. However, you should still be able to use the phone without issue. Always consider personal preference and comfort, not just official support timelines, when deciding whether or not to continue using a device.

To connect your Nokia 7 Plus to a computer, follow these steps:
1. Start by using the USB cable that came with your phone. Ensure it's in good condition.
. Connect one end of the USB cable to your phone's charging/data port. This port is usually located at the bottom of the device.
3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer.
4. On your Nokia 7 Plus, a notification may appear in the status bar saying "Charging this device via USB." Drag down the notification panel and tap on it to access more options.
5. Alternatively, if the notification does not appear, go to your phone's Settings.
6. In the Settings menu, find the "Connected devices" or "Connected devices & USB" option, and tap on it.
7. Look for the "USB" or "USB preferences" setting, and select it.
8. From the available options, choose "File transfer" or "Transfer files" (sometimes referred to as MTP mode).
9. After selecting this option, your Nokia 7 Plus should be recognized by your computer. It will appear as a removable storage device in the file manager, just like a USB drive.
Now, you can access your phone's storage from your computer, transfer files, and manage data between the two devices.
