CHAPTER 3 | Installation The EZ Connect™ Wireless Cable Modem Gateway can be installed in any location where you have cable Internet access, and your cable Internet service provider has approved the Gateway. To confirm you meet these 2 criteria points, please contact your cable operator. Basic Installation Procedure 1. Connect the LAN: You can connect the Gateway to your PC, or to a hub or switch. Run Ethernet cable from one of the LAN ports on the rear of the Gateway to your computer’s network adapter or to another network device.
