Plugging in the computer Plugging in the power adapter recharges the computer’s batteries. You should plug in the power adapter in case the battery has drained during shipping or storage. WARNING Use only the power adapter that came with your Macintosh PowerBook. 2Plug the power adapter cable into the power adapter port (marked with the icon ¯) on the back panel of the computer. You can wind extra cable around the hooks that open out from the power adapter.
