Hardware Setup Make sure that power to all the devices you will be installing has been turned off. You must unplug the power cords of any computers that have the Keyboard Power On function. Basic Operation Manual Switching There are two convenient methods to access the computers: Manual – pressing the port selection pushbuttons located on the unit’s front panel; and Hotkey – entering key combinations from the keyboard. Port ID Numbering Each CPU port on the switch is assigned a port number (1 or 2 for the GCS1782 and 1,2,2,4 for the GCS1784).
