If you do, you have to restore the default settings (reset – see section 4.31). 4.24 Subscribing a handset to a Butler 1000, 1010, 1210, 2405, 2410 base unit In order to be able to make and receive telephone calls, a new handset has to be subscribed to the base unit. You can subscribe 5 handsets to one base unit. By default, each handset is sub- scribed as handset 1
