Drum cartridge replacement STATUS INDICATORS DRUM CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT Remove the new drum cartridge from the protective bag and gently insert the lead end of the drum cartridge 5 along the guides. Do not touch the surface of the drum (green portion) of the cartridge. Doing so may cause smudges on the copies. GETTING STARTED Cautions on handling CAUTIONS ON HANDLING Be careful in handling the copier as follows to maintain the performance of this copier. Do not drop the copier, subject it to shock or strike it against any object. Do not expose the drum cartridge to direct sunlight. Doing so will damage the surface (green portion) of the drum cartridge, causing poor copy quality.
