Chapter 1 Using the 4-Way Arrow/Zoom Button Navigating—use and (W/T) to scroll through your pictures and menus. Zoom—use (W/T) to zoom in or out when taking pictures. See page 17. Chapter 1 Setting the Clock The Date & Time screen is automatically displayed the first time you turn on the camera or if the battery is removed for an extended time. If this is the first time the camera has been turned on, go to step 4. To set the date and time after that: 1 In Capture or Review mode, press the Menu Menu button. 2 Highlight Setup Menu , then press the Select button. 3 Highlight Date & Time , then press the Select button. Chapter 1 Choosing Internal Memory or MMC/SD Card The camera offers two options for storing pictures: Internal Memory—store up to 23 pictures (at Best quality) in the 16 MB internal memory. Chapter 1 Camera Modes The camera has four modes: Capture, Review, Share, and Setup. You can always tell which mode the camera is in: Capture —the LCD is blank, no image Capture is displayed. If you press the down arrow, the status bar and mode icon are displayed. See Chapter 2, Taking Pictures—Capture Mode.
