PREPARING YOUR CAMERA Installing the Battery We highly recommend you use the specified rechargeable lithium-ion battery to maximize performance of your digital camera. Make sure that camera’s power is off before inserting or removing the battery. 1. Turn your camera off. 2. Slide the battery/SD card cover away in arrow direction and lift it up. 3.
