Precautions • Place the fax on a level surface. • Do not remove the BJ cartridge from the unit unless it needs to be replaced, or when transporting the fax. Removing the cartridge and leaving the print head unprotected will cause it to dry out and become unusable. • Do not place the fax on the edge of a desk so as to prevent received documents from falling onto the floor. • Certain table surfaces may prevent received documents from sliding out smoothly, resulting in paper jams.
