Using the remote control to operate a VCR or cable TV converter • If you have a non-Toshiba VCR or cable TV converter or a Toshiba device that the remote control is not programmed to operate, you must first program the remote control to recognize your device. • To use your TV remote control to operate a VCR, set the TV/CABLE/VCR switch to VCR.
