Each of the 24 GPS satellites circle the earth twice a day in a very precise orbit, and transmit information back to earth. The receiver must be given an opportunity to collect satellite data and establish its present position. All four pages are linked together in a simple chain, which allows you to scroll through the pages in either direction using the J and Q keys. We’ve already seen how to use the M key to store our present position, so it’s time to move on to the fun part: going to a destination.
