5i Series IP Phone Release Notes Features in Release 2.2 Usability Features Dial Plan Support for Secondary Dial Tone The IP phones now support a feature that allows the user to dial a predefined dial string, obtain a dial tone, and continue dialing. A User or Administrator can configure this using the existing Dial Plan feature on the phone. IP Phone Release Notes 2.2 Features in Release 2.2 Account-Based Do Not Disturb (DND) and Call Forward (CFWD) In previous releases of the IP Phone, you could configure a DND key to set “do not disturb” on all the lines on the phone. Also in previous releases, you could configure CFWD on all lines (global settings) or on specific lines (local settings) on the phone. IP Phone Release Notes 2.2 Features in Release 2.2 Configuring DND Using the Aastra Web UI Use the following procedure to configure DND mode using the Aastra Web UI: Aastra Web UI 1 Click on Basic Settings->Preferences->General.. DND Key Mode Parameter 2 In the “DND Key Mode” field, select a “do not disturb” (DND) mode to use on the phone. Valid values are: Account, Phone, Custom.
