Installation 3.1 Step 1: Connecting the Modem to Your System 3.1.1 USB CONNECTION Plug the USB cable connector on the Portable USB Modem into a USB port connector on your computer. 3.1.2 LINE CONNECTION Plug one end of the phone cable into the Portable USB Modem’s LINE jack and the other end into a phone line wall jack.
