1 Introduction Installation Overview This guide describes the procedures for installing new hardware and software in your LH 4/LH 4r NetServer. The hardware update takes 10 or 15 minutes. The firmware update can take up to an hour, not including time taken by backing up and restoring your hard disk drives, or by reinstalling the NOS or applications. During the update procedure, you will see progress screens that indicate the action underway. During the software upgrade, you will: • update system
