Preface This maintenance manual describes how to perform hardware service maintenance for the TOSHIBA Satellite Pro M10 Series Portable Personal Computer, referred to as Satellite Pro M10 Series in this manual. 1 Hardware Overview 1.1 Features CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive A full-size, CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive module that lets the user run CD/DVDs without using an adaptor. It reads DVD-ROMs at maximum 8 speed and CD-ROMs at maximum 24 speed. It writes CD-R at up to 8 speed and CD-RW at up to 8 speed. For reading, this drive supports the same formats as the DVD-ROM drive.
