Getting started Installation options The telephone base comes with the mounting bracket already installed for tabletop use. If you want to mount your telephone on a wall, use the provided wall bracket to connect with a standard dual stud telephone wall mounting plate. If you do not have this mounting plate, you can purchase one from many hardware or consumer electronic retailers. You might need a professional to install the mounting plate. Hold down the switch hook, and slide the handset tab up and out of its slot. Turn the tab so that the end with the hook is up, then insert the handset tab back into its slot.
