1. TARGET TRAIL FUNCTIONS 1.1 Long Trails The fishing vessel specifications radar provides trail lengths of 12 h, 24 h and 48 h, in addition to the “standard” trail lengths of 15 s, 30 s, 1 min, 3 min, 6 min, 15 min, 30 min and continuous. 1.3 Trail Color Shift When there are many trails on the screen, especially when using long trails, it is diffi- cult to distinguish past tracks from current tracks since they are the same color. 3.4 Bearing Reference The EBL bearing (and cursor bearing) can be referenced to your ship heading (relative bearing) or North (true bearing).
