Chapter 1-System Overview Standard Definition (SD) SD is a high quality video protocol which uses the H.264 video algorithm. It enables HD compliant endpoints to connect to conferences at resolutions of 720X576 for PAL systems and 720X480 for NTSC systems. Bit rates for SD range from 256Kbps to 2Mbps.
