Turn off the display unit, system unit (shutting down the Operating System properly before), and all other separately powered attached units. 3. Remove the system unit cover (see page 1-6) 2. Disconnect all data, fan and power cables from System board. 3. Disconnect all cables from additional adapter cards. 4. Touch the metal chassis before touching the DIMM module or system board. Keep part of your body in contact with the metal chassis to dissipate the static charge. 3.
