Do not touch the spark plug and ignition cable when starting and operating the engine. Operate the pump on a stable, level surface. If the engine is tilted, fuel spillage may result. NOTE Operating the pump at a steep incline may cause seizure due to improper lubrication even with a maximum oil level. Do not transport the pump with fuel in tank or with fuel strainer cock open.
