Compressor protection • If the unit is stopped and then immediately restarted again, the compressor will not operate for about 3 minutes in order to protect the compressor. Heating mode (heat pump models only) • The air conditioner draws in heat from the outdoor unit and releases it via the indoor unit dur- ing heating operation. When the outdoor temperature falls, heat drawn in by the air conditioner decreases accordingly.
