The front panel Power On/Standby button does not completely shut off system power. Portions of the power supply and some internal circuitry remain active until AC power is removed. Failure to do so can result in data loss and can void the warranty. RAID 0 is not a fault-tolerant configuration. Never remove a drive from a RAID 0 array unless it has failed.
