Using the remote control with a VCR or cable TV converter • To use your TV remote control to operate a VCR, set the TV/CABLE/VCR switch to VCR. Programming the channel memory The channel memory is the list of TV channels your TV stops on when you press CHANNEL /. First, use the TV/CABLE and CH PROGRAM functions (below) to program all active channels in your area into the channel memory.
