THE COOLING FAN FOR THE CONTROLS Your cooker has a cooling fan fitted behind the controls to prevent them from overheating. The cooling fan will come on immediately when the top oven or grill is switched on and after a short time when the main oven is in use. HINTS AND TIPS Most foods should be placed on the grilling grid in the grill pan. This allows maximum circulation of air by raising the food out of fats and juices. Foods such as fish, liver and kidneys may be placed directly on the trivet in the grill pan if preferred. The grilling grid is reversible. Adjust the grid height and grill pan runner position to allow for different thicknesses of food. Position the food close to the burner for faster cooking and further away for more gentle cooking.
