8 The PIN (Personal Identification Number) is a password provided by a network operator with a SIM card. You need this password in order to use the SIM card. If you enter the PIN incorrectly 3 times in a row, the SIM card will lock down and no longer be usable. If this happens, you must enter the PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) for that SIM card in order to unlock it. Please contact your network operator to obtain a PUK.
