PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Maxon’s 49-SX hands-free communicator is a compact, portable two-way FM radio designed to operate in the 49.830 to 49.890 MHz band. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1) Remove the battery compartment door by pulling the door tab towards you. Install two fresh AA batteries, noting the polarity diagram embossed in the battery compartment. For continuous, heavy-duty use, alkaline batteries are recommended. NOTE: Rechargeable ni-cad batteries can be used in the 49-SX.
