SOFTWARE INSTALLATION Step 1: Install the Driver & Utility For Windows 98, 2000, ME and XP users Caution! Do not insert the wireless LAN adapter into your computer until the procedures in “ Install the Driver& Utility” have been performed. 1. Exit all Windows programs. Insert the included CD-ROM into your computer. The CD-ROM will run automatically. 2. When the Main Menu screen appears, click “ Driver & Utility Installation” to continue. - 2 -

HARDWARE INSTALLATION Windows 2000/XP Note: Before you install the device to your computer, make sure you have installed the driver and utility as described in the previous section. Windows XP 1. Locate your USB host and insert the USB Adapter. 2. Once the device has been inserted to your computer, Windows will detect the new hardware. 3. When the following screen appears, select Install the software automatically (Recommended). - 5 -

4. Click Continue Anyway → Finish to complete the hardware installation. Windows 2000 Insert the USB adapter into the USB port of your computer and then click Yes to complete the hardware installation.
