AT-2911GP Gigabit Fiber Ethernet PoE+ Adapters Installation and User’s Guide Description The AT-2911GP adapter is a Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express (PCIe) card developed based on Broadcom’s BCM5718 Ethernet controller. The adapter card is equipped with one 1000SX or 1000LX fiber optic port and one 10/100/1000T Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) copper port capable of providing electrical power to Class 4 devices. Chapter 1: Introduction Dual Port The AT-2911GP adapter is a dual port adapter to connect a PC to two separate networks. You can assign an IP address to each port. Adapter After you physically install the AT-2911GP adapter on your Windows operating system, you must install driver software. To install driver software, see Chapter 3, “Installing the Driver Software” on page 35.
