Configuring and Pairing the Adapter Pairing is the procedure that establishes a wireless link between two Bluetooth devices. To pair your Adapter with another Bluetooth-enabled device – for example, your laptop, PDA, headset, mobile/cell phone, printer, scanner or digital camera: 1 Turn on your computer if it is not already on. 2 Plug the Bluetooth Adapter into a USB port on the computer. Notes on Pairing • If the Adapter fails to pair with the desired device, move the device closer to the Adapter and start the pairing process again. • Pairing usually takes only about 10 seconds. However, it can take up to three minutes if there are other Bluetooth- enabled devices nearby that you don't want to pair with.
