Introduction 1 Notational Conventions The conventions in this User’s Guide are as follows. Used in the stand-alone mode, this instrument is referred to as ‘402 Dilutor-Dispenser’ or simply 402. Overview Introduction 1 Overview The 402 Dilutor-Dispenser, is used to transfer liquids between vials according to user defined protocols (Methods). You program the 402 Dilutor-Dispenser via the keypad, which includes an LCD screen, for communication purposes. You may store a total of 99 linkable Methods using the keypad. Description 2 Single-syringe Model The Single-syringe model has a Valve module at the left, and a blanking plate at the right. The Valve module includes one motor to operate the syringe and another motor to switch the valve.
