Wall Mount For many industrial applications, you will find it convenient to mount NPort Express on the wall, using two screws, as indicated below. Switch SW1 controls the function of the serial port (ON, or up, for RS-232 Console connection, and down for Data Communication, such as when NPort Express is connected to your serial device). Note that after changing the setting of SW1, NPort Express will reboot to initialize the new setting.
