To clear the RTC data: (1) Turn off your computer and unplug its AC power, (2) Short the two solder points labeled CLRTC, (3) Turn on your computer, (4) Hold down during bootup and enter BIOS setup to re-enter user preferences. This allows the selection of the CPU’s External frequency (or BUS Clock). The BUS Clock multiplied by the BUS Ratio equals the CPU’s Internal fre- quency (the advertised CPU speed). 5.
