Preparing Your Camera for Use Install lithium battery Your digital camera needs a lithium battery in order to operate. The battery is found separately in the packaging. Mode selection Your digital touch screen camera has 4 main modes – Still Image mode, Video mode, Playback mode and Set up mode. The Still Image mode is for you to take still photos.
