Preparing Your Camera for Use Your digital camera needs 3 AAA batteries in order to operate. Alkaline batteries are recommended. 1. Slide and open the battery door on the bottom of the camera. 2. Installing SD Memory Card Your camera has very limited internal memory enough to take one test photo. An external memory card is required for normal use.
