Installing a hard disk drive 1. Remove the two metal cover screws. Keep the screws for later use. 1 2. Slide the metal cover toward the rear panel. Installing a DIMM 1. Locate the two DIMM sockets on the motherboard. 2 2. Unlock a socket by pressing the retaining clips outward. 3.
