Connections & Setup ANTENNA/CABLE DIGITAL INPUT Get the Picture VIDEO IN VIDEO The first part of connecting your TV is to get a signal. Connections & Setup Connecting the Device This connection allows you to connect a device that has an S-Video jack, such as a DVD player. S-Video provides a clearer picture than the Video jack. Connections & Setup Plug in the TV Plug the end of the power cord into a grounded wall outlet. Insert the plug completely into the outlet. Put Batteries in the Remote • Remove the battery compartment cover from the back of the remote by pushing down and sliding off the cover. • Insert 2 fresh “AA” batteries. Using the TV’s Features Parental Controls and V-Chip The choices in the USA V-CHIP menu involve software inside your TV (referred to as V-Chip) which allows you to block TV programs and movies based on violence, sex or other content you may believe children should not view. Once you block programs, you can unblock programs by entering a password.
