INSTALLATION Standard Modular Electrical Telephone Outlet Jack Telephone Line Jack Telephone Line Cord Power Cord Table/Desk Installation 1 Choose a spot near an electrical outlet and a telephone jack. INSTALLATION 4 Connect the telephone line cord. Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the jack on the back of the base. Plug the other end of the line cord into a modular jack. ANSWERING SYSTEM OPERATION AT THE BASE Answering Calls When the system is on and you’ve selected the Normal Announce mode, the caller hears the announcement, followed by a beep. A caller can leave a message up to 4 minutes long.
