Chapter 5: Hardware Installation HARD DISK DRIVE INSTALLATION Check to verify the hard drive’s jumper setting. Important: The jumper setting must be set to "master". Check the jumper setting diagram on your hard drive or consult your hard drive manual for instructions. Note: The default setting of hard disk drive is set to “master”. SENSOR/ MOTION DETECTOR INSTALLATION You can connect up to 4 motion sensors (not included in the DVR package) to the DVR. There are two steps to install sensors. 1.
