Chapter 1 - Network Installation 4 To connect the HSSI port on the HSSI-10/100 module to a T3 (or other HSSI-based) CSU/DSU, first make sure that both units are powered off. Then, simply connect a standard HSSI cable between the HSSI port of the HSSI-10/100 module and the appropriate port of the CSU/DSU, following the cable installation instructions supplied by the CSU/DSU manufac- turer as well.
